Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

"I absolutely loved it! It's the best book ever! I don't know if I would want to live in the Society. I mean, I don't want somebody picking my life out for me! The Officials in the Society decide who you love, where you work, when you die...
But people totally need to read this book! If you don't believe me then take it from them:
""Love triangle + struggle against the powers that be = perfect ... escape.""

Clockwork Prince - Book

by Cassandra Clare

The Clockwork Prince is the first volume in the second series by Cassandra Clare set in Victorian London. In an alternate history where demons conflict with angels, life and death struggles go unnoticed amidst everyday human life. It is here we meet Tessa Gray, a young woman newly arrived from New York City.  She has traveled to London seeking her brother, her only family left after the death of their aunt.
In London Tessa finds herself in a fight for survival against an evil she can barely comprehend, finding help from an unlikely family and an inner strength she didn't know she possessed.
This well written book is full of action and yet Cassandra Clare has also managed a vivid description of turn-of-the-century London with a unique set of characters.  I recommend it!

The Hunger Games - Book

The Hunger Games is written by Suzanne Collins and is fiction. Its combination of nerve-racking tension, thrilling action, and engaging love story kept me up until the wee hours of the night. I was surprised at how completely gripping the plot was. The stories starts with The Games that choose two kids from ages 12-18 from each district to fight in an arena till the death. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from the moment you open it, it is most defiantly one of my favorite books.
